Ref CL111- 3 Duty Free Shop Sales Assistants

Applicants must be fluent in English, other European languages would be an asset. All applicants for this post must be customer focused with strong selling ability and previous retail experience

Applicant will ideally be aged 22-to 38 and have a valid passport with a minimum of 6 months to expiry

The winter cruises program sail to South / Central America / Brazil, Cuba and the Caribbean other cruises are to Indian Ocean Islands, Pacifica Ocean Islands, Hong Kong, Malaysian, etc., Cruise lengths vary from 8 to 21 days

Contract length 5 months

Monthly salary euro 1300 Tax free +  commission

Working hours 56 per week / 8 hours daily, any extra are paid as overtime

Bonus  euro 1,000 paid upon completion of contract

Accommodation on board is provided free on a 2 crew members sharing a cabin basis, All meals onboard are free

Full medical cover is provided so all applicant will have to produce an HIV Clearance certificate and vaccination certificate for Yellow Fever.

All employees depart from Italy and applicants are required to make their own way there but will be reimbursed travel expenses after 30 onboard vessel

Applicants will undergo training at the Government Authorized Maritime Training Centers The Course covers mainly shipping safety practices aboard ships, handling Passengers Safety and Rescue and other shipping safety related practices. Courses are given in the English Language. Courses normally take one or two days a certificate is issued at the end upon successful completion. The total cost for these courses is Euro 685.00 which is reimbursed at the end of the contract. Unfortunately no one can work onboard a vessel without this certification
